Meet the Owner
Raised by a generational family of mechanics, Jacob Lane has an undeniable passion for the equipment world.
In 2010 Jacob set forth his career dream of running his own shop working on lawn mowers, tractors and agricultural equipment in Nelson County, VA.
After relocating to the Northern Neck in 2017, to be closer to family, he continued his path by providing onsite services while remaking a name in a new town.
In 2020, he opened the doors of JL Equipment services in Reedville VA.

"I love what I do. I love diesel! There really is no better feeling than when a farmer, or Ag company calls you in a panic, needing a repair, and you get to be the one to get them up and running and back in business. It's their livelihood, and I understand the urgency in that."

In 2025, Jacob expanded JL Equipment services and brought in equipment rentals to the business.
